Welcome Elliot — Minneapolis/St Paul Family Photographer

The past two weeks have been busy ones at the studio, and one of the most fun evenings I have had this summer so far was early this week with this adorable family!  Mom wanted to both celebrate the arrival of the family’s newest addition, Elliot, but also get some updated images of her older children…and I am pretty sure we got it all.  This is only a small portion of the images I have been editing all afternoon, everytime I open up a new file I jump out of my seat and say–”oh, this is my favorite!”  Enjoy the sneak peek mom!

Mom also gets five-stars for her styling–these images are a perfect example of how to dress your family for a photoshoot.  Coordinating, without matching–similar tones, colors, and hues–loved the bright colors.  Perfect for a summer evening photo session!

Family Holiday Sessions — Minneapolis/St Paul Family Photographer

I know it’s hard to think about the holidays on a 90 degree day, but we really are only about 10 weeks out from the start of the fall season–which means it’s time to start thinking Family Holiday Sessions!  I have already pre-selected dates and times, so get out your calendar out and schedule your session today!  Here are the details:

Dates: Sept. 24,25,30–Summit Ave, St Paul MN
Oct. 8,9–Highland Park, St Paul MN
Oct  15,16–Harriet Island, St Paul MN
Oct  22,23–Mississippi River Blvd, St Paul MN

Time: 45 minute session, scheduled between 10am-2pm each day listed

Cost: $200, $75 non-refundable deposit due at time of booking to reserve your time-slot

Includes: 45-min session fee
online gallery of 15-25 images
complete set of 4×6 proofs of all images in gallery
set of 25 flat 5×7 holiday cards with envelopes

Brothers–Minneapolis/St Paul Child Photographer

Had a great time tonight at the park with these two handsome guys.  We ran up and down hills, played at a park, wrestled in the grass…you name it!  I absolutely LOVE taking photos on a summer evening–you get color and light this time of year that is like no other.

This is one of my favorite shots, but there are oh so many to choose from.  I mean seriously, have you ever seen two cuter little men?

Jackson — Minneapolis/St Paul Newborn Photographer

Back in the studio this morning…..Meet Jackson, five days old and cute as a button!  This is just one of the many adorable images he produced, it’s practically a whole session of “keepers!”

I am still looking for newborn models, so if you know of anyone that’s due soon, or just had a baby, please send along my info.  Newborns are such a joy to photography!

Summer Mini-Sessions Are Here!

With temperatures FINALLY reaching into the eighties here in Saint Paul, I just might be on the verge of believing that summer (or spring for that matter) has actually arrived.  That, to me, is a reason to celebrate….and why not celebrate together with a summer mini-session!

For the next week I am going to open up the ENTIRE SUMMER WEEKDAY schedule to these special sessions, versus trying to condense them all into one day or weekend.

Here are the particulars:

-30-60 minute session
-must be scheduled on mon, wed, or fri either in the afternoon or evening
-fee covers up to two children (each additional child $25)
-session will be located at my studio in Saint Paul, outdoor shots encouraged!  Lots of parks, fields..etc..nearby
-fee is $150 and INCLUDES three high-res files on CD with printing rights (Retail value $450+!)
-NO MINIMUM purchase is required,  however special digital and print packages will be available to purchase if   you desire additional images
-these special sessions are for children’s portraits ONLY.  In the fall I will be offering holiday mini-sessions    designed for capturing the whole family
